Thanks for your response! The mileage is 238171 km. I haven't checked for air leaks specifically. Was your issue definitely the IAC valve and intake?

Well, I'm not entirely sure if it was definitely the IAC valve and intake. I did try cleaning the throttle body myself, but that didn't fully resolve the problem. Eventually, I had to take it to a workshop. They mentioned the intake was quite dirty and the IAC valve was faulty. I'd recommend getting it checked by a professional; it might save you some headaches.

Okay, I appreciate the advice! I took it to a workshop, and you were right. The intake was heavily contaminated, and the IAC valve was indeed faulty. Repair cost was 425€. Thanks again!

Hello! I seem to recall experiencing something similar with my Renault Scenic, though I can't remember the exact year. It could be the IAC valve, and a dirty intake definitely wouldn't help. Did you check for any air leaks? Also, what's the mileage on your Scenic?
