When you say 'defective connector', do you mean the main plug that connects to the seat, or a specific connector related to the massage function itself? Was it visibly damaged, or did you have to test it with a multimeter?

It was indeed the primary connector for the seat. Visual inspection revealed no apparent damage; however, upon closer examination, a technician identified a loose pin within the connector. Given the intricacies of automotive electrical systems, I would advise you to have the seating electrics inspected by qualified personnel.

Thanks so much for your advice! I took it to a local workshop, and you were spot on. It turned out to be a faulty connector under the seat, just as you suspected. They replaced the connector, and the massage function is working perfectly again. The repair cost me 95€, which I think is reasonable. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!

I have a Renault Scenic too. I recall facing a comparable problem with the massage seat in mine. The issue stemmed from a defective connector under the seat. Have you inspected the cable connections and plugs beneath the seat for any signs of damage or corrosion?
