Interesting! No accidents that I'm aware of, at least not while I've owned it. But it's an older car, so who knows what happened before. When you say 'radar sensors', are those different from the ultrasonic sensors typically used for parking assist? And what did you end up doing to fix the problem?

Sorry, when I said radar sensors I meant the ultrasonic sensors! I just got it wrong. I'm not very technical, haha. I tried cleaning them, but that didn't work. In the end, I took it to a workshop and they sorted it out for me. Best to leave it to the pros!

Thanks for the info! Sounds like it's probably beyond my capabilities, too. I was hoping to avoid the workshop, but it seems inevitable. I got a quote of 95€ from my local mechanic, which I'll probably accept.

Hey! I had a similar problem with my Scenic. My parking sensors went haywire – beeping constantly even with nothing behind me. I think it might be the radar sensors themselves. Has the car been involved in any fender benders?
