Scenic radio error

Radio in my 2005 Renault Scenic diesel is acting up. Infotainment system shows an error, and no audio at all. Error memory has something stored. Could a defective antenna cause this? Mileage is 109897 km.

I had a similar problem with my old Opel Astra, though it was petrol. FM signal was practically non-existent. Have you checked the antenna connection? Is it properly connected to the head unit?

Thanks! I checked the connection, and it seems secure. Was your issue constant, or did it come and go? Did the infotainment system still work, apart from the radio?

Mine was constant. The infotainment system worked for other things, like displaying the time and settings, but the radio was completely dead. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop; they can diagnose it properly. Probably the antenna needs replacing.
