Scenic turn signal error
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Renault Scenic is experiencing a turn signal error, with a faulty lighting indication and a stored error message on the speedometer. The issue could be due to a defective cable or plug, but corrosion in the bulb housing or a loose connection might also be the cause. The problem was ultimately resolved by fixing a loose connection, confirmed by a workshop visit.

I haven't checked the housing specifically for corrosion yet, but would that cause the error message, too?

It absolutely could. A bad connection can mess with the car's computer and throw all sorts of codes. Honestly, with modern cars, electrical gremlins can be a nightmare. Given the error message, and to be on the safe side, you might want to have a workshop take a look.

Thanks. Ended up being a loose connection, just like you thought. Workshop charged 95€ to fix it.

Could be. But is the bulb itself okay? Have you checked the connection to the bulb housing? Sometimes corrosion can cause weird electrical issues.
