I haven't checked refrigerant pressure or compressor components. I'm wondering if the air conditioning control unit is defective. Is this possible? Did you ever resolve the issue on your Renault?

It is possible, yes. In my case, after a lot of head-scratching, the workshop determined that the AC compressor was indeed the culprit. Given the symptoms and error code, it's worth investigating further. I would recommend taking it to a trusted mechanic to get a proper diagnosis.

Thank you for the information. I took the Fiat to the workshop. The air conditioning control unit was indeed defective, and after the repairs (total 980€) the problem is now resolved.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my 2016 Renault Trafic. Same symptoms: AC not cooling, error light. Did you check the refrigerant pressure or any of the AC compressor components? What diagnostic steps have you taken so far?
