Main relay? Where is that located, and could that really kill the ECU?

Yeah, a bad relay can fry things. Better get it checked out by someone who knows vehicle electronics. Probably workshop time.

Thanks! You were spot on. Turned out the main relay was defective and damaged the ECU. Cost me 120€ to fix, but at least she's running again!

Sounds familiar! I had something similar happen on my Scudo. Was it the main relay?
