Seat Alhambra AC Problems

My Seat Alhambra built in 2005 with a diesel engine is giving me grief! The AC has completely stopped working. It's not cooling at all, and the whole system seems dead. Anyone else had this?

Have you checked the AC diagnostics? I encountered a similar problem with my Alhambra. Initially, I suspected a refrigerant leak, but after a thorough inspection, it turned out to be a faulty blower motor. I would recommend verifying the temperature control settings as well. Also, is there any unusual AC noise?

Blower motor huh? How did you figure that out? I mean the whole system is dead so I don't even hear the blower motor doing anything...

The absence of AC noise was a key indicator. Given your description, it is difficult to diagnose remotely. I would suggest having a workshop perform AC diagnostics to pinpoint the issue. In my case, the symptoms were identical.

The workshop confirmed individual valves in the AC system are faulty. Repair cost is around 1000€. Thanks for the input.
