Seat Alhambra audio system failure

The audio system in my 2011 Seat Alhambra with a gasoline engine has completely konked out. No sound whatsoever. Radio, CD, nothing. I'm thinking it might be a fuse, but I've checked a couple and they seem fine. I am not sure how to solve this Bluetooth issue or if it is related to the audio system.

I had a similar issue with my Seat Alhambra. Have you checked the bass speaker? That was the culprit in my case. Do you have any issues when using auxiliary input or USB audio? This might help to narrow down the issue.

Bass speaker, eh? I wouldn't have thought of that. I mainly use Bluetooth, so I'm not sure about the auxiliary input or USB audio. Where is the bass speaker located? Is it difficult to check?

Yes, it was indeed the bass speaker. The sound quality degraded slowly over time, then eventually stopped. It is behind the door panel, so you need some experience to check it yourself. If you are not sure what you are doing, I suggest you go to the workshop. They will be able to diagnose the problem quickly.

Thanks for the tip. I took it to a shop and they confirmed it was the bass speaker. Cost me 280€ to get it sorted, but at least I have my tunes back.
