Seat Alhambra climate control issues
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Seat Alhambra with a Diesel engine experienced climate control issues, including a malfunctioning air conditioning system, frozen spray nozzles, and non-functional mirror heating. These problems were traced back to an error in the outside temperature sensor, likely due to a faulty cable or plug connection. The issue was resolved by replacing the faulty section of the sensor cable, restoring the vehicle's climate control functions.

When you say wiring harness, are you referring to the connector on the sensor itself, or further along the loom? Any specific areas that are prone to damage?

Yes, I meant the connector and the immediate wiring going to the outside temperature sensor. That was where my issue was. Are you planning to go to a workshop?

It was indeed the outside temperature sensor cable. Replaced the faulty section and all is working again. Thanks for the confirmation, saved me a lot of time!

I have a Seat Alhambra too, although I'm not sure about the year. I had somewhat similar problems a while back. Frozen spray nozzles are no fun. Did you check the wiring harness leading to the vehicle temperature sensor itself? Perhaps a loose connection?
