Thanks for the reply. I haven't specifically checked the serpentine belt, but I don't hear any unusual noises. Could a loose belt really cause all these problems, including the engine misfire and car won't start?

A loose or damaged serpentine belt could contribute to some of the symptoms, particularly the weak lights and poor charging. However, considering the error code and the severity of the issues, a defective generator is the more probable cause for the engine misfire and car won't start. I'd recommend having a workshop confirm the diagnosis.

As suspected, the generator was indeed faulty. The repair cost 960€. I appreciate the input, it helped confirm my suspicions before taking it in.

A faulty generator does seem plausible given the symptoms and error codes. However, before jumping to that conclusion, have you checked the condition of your serpentine belt? A worn or damaged belt can also lead to charging issues and reduced engine power. Also, are there any other unusual noises coming from the engine area?
