Thanks for the quick reply! The intake manifold was mentioned during the last service, I will check the turbocharger hoses. When you had the problem, did you also experience reduced engine power or any engine knocking?

Yes, reduced power and a slight engine knocking, especially when accelerating. I'd get it checked out by a professional. A proper diagnostic scan should pinpoint the root cause. Could save money in the long run. Don't keep driving it like that.

Just wanted to let you know, you were right! The mechanic found a faulty sensor causing the error. They cleared the code, and the engine is running smoothly. No engine knocking, fuel consumption is back to normal, and the check engine light is off. Best of all, 0€ repair cost! Thanks again for the help!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Alhambra. Check your intake manifold and turbocharger hoses for leaks. A small crack can cause pressure fluctuations. Has the timing belt been inspected recently?
