Summary of the thread
A 2000 diesel Seat Alhambra is experiencing error messages on the infotainment and speedometer, along with a check engine light, suspected to be due to vehicle coding issues. The problem was identified using an OBD-II scan tool, which pointed to a coding issue with a control module. I used a scan tool and got a fault code. It's pointing towards a coding issue with one of the control modules. Was your fault code the same, or different?

Sounds very familiar. I'm not sure about the exact fault code I got back then, but it was definitely related to incorrect coding. I tried a few things myself, but honestly, it was a headache. I ended up taking it to a workshop, and they sorted it pretty quickly. Saved me a lot of frustration in the end.

Just to let you know, the mechanic found that the control module coding was wrong. Cost 360€ to fix. Thanks for the advice.

I had something similar with my Alhambra. Constant check engine light and errors popping up. Have you tried using an OBD-II scan tool to read the fault code?
