Thank you for your swift response. Which sensors are you referring to specifically? Are there any other symptoms you experienced, that I might compare with my car?

Certainly. The primary sensor in question would be the Transmission Speed Sensor (TSS), which monitors the input shaft speed. Also, the Output Shaft Speed Sensor (OSS), responsible for measuring the output shaft speed, should be examined. In my case, similar to yours, I had issues engaging gears, and the digital display was erratic. The repair shop confirmed it was indeed a sensor problem and they recommended replacing the affected control unit. Based on my experience, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a trusted workshop for a comprehensive diagnosis.

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulties with your Seat Alhambra. I recall facing a similar predicament with my Alhambra; the gear indicator display behaved erratically. From my understanding, Automotive electronics can be complex, almost like a spider web, where one faulty sensor can affect the entire system. Have you checked the sensors related to the gear shift mechanism? Sometimes a simple sensor malfunction can cause the entire display to go haywire.
