Seat Alhambra phone connection issues
Summary of the thread
A 2000 Seat Alhambra owner experienced issues connecting their smartphone to the car, with error messages indicating 'function restrictions.' The problem was suspected to be due to incorrect pairing with the end device. A suggestion to check the fuses related to the entertainment system and Bluetooth module was made, but ultimately, the issue was resolved by correcting the pairing at a workshop for a fee.

Interesting. Where exactly did you find the fuse location for the Bluetooth module in your Megane? Was it clearly labeled?

Yes, the fuse box diagram indicated it clearly, but I recommend you go to your workshop in order to check everything properly before doing something wrong by yourself.

You are a lifesaver! The incorrect pairing was indeed the culprit. Took it to the shop, 45€ later and boom, everything works perfectly. Thanks a lot!

I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane. Could you check the fuses related to the entertainment system and the Bluetooth module? Sometimes a blown fuse can cause this kind of weird behavior.
