Seat Alhambra phone connection issues

Okay, I'm losing my mind! My 2000 Seat Alhambra with a gasoline engine (115009 km on the clock) is refusing to connect to my smartphone. Error memory is showing some generic 'function restrictions'. I'm betting it's the incorrect pairing with the end device. Anyone else seen this kind of craziness? The ignition system, steering, brakes, suspension, and fuel system are all fine, just this phone thing is driving me nuts.

I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane. Could you check the fuses related to the entertainment system and the Bluetooth module? Sometimes a blown fuse can cause this kind of weird behavior.

Interesting. Where exactly did you find the fuse location for the Bluetooth module in your Megane? Was it clearly labeled?

Yes, the fuse box diagram indicated it clearly, but I recommend you go to your workshop in order to check everything properly before doing something wrong by yourself.

You are a lifesaver! The incorrect pairing was indeed the culprit. Took it to the shop, 45€ later and boom, everything works perfectly. Thanks a lot!
