Seat Alhambra Start Stop Problem

Voltage seems okay when I checked with a multimeter, but how can I be absolutely sure it's the battery? Could it be something else, like the starter motor or some hybrid vehicle issue?

Voltage can seem okay, but the cranking amps might be low. Mine was the same. Get it properly tested, but the symptoms sound exactly like what I experienced before the battery died. I wouldn't rule out the starter motor, but given the error message and engine stalling, I'd bet on a battery first. Get it checked at a workshop. They can properly diagnose it.

You were spot on. Workshop confirmed it was a battery problem. New battery installed, and start-stop is perfect again. Cost 290€, but it's resolved. Thanks for the help.

Sounds like a battery issue. I've got an Alhambra too. Had something similar happen, start-stop went crazy. Have you checked the battery's voltage? Sometimes, even if it seems okay, it can be failing.
