Seat Alhambra Sun Blind Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Seat Alhambra owner is experiencing a sun blind issue where it is stuck and not functioning. The problem is identified by a VCDS error code indicating a defective sun blind motor. The likely cause is a faulty motor, and the suggested solution is to have it repaired at a workshop. The owner eventually confirms the motor was broken and replaced, restoring the sun blind's functionality and UV protection.

Interesting. No, no strange sounds that I can recall. Did yours throw any error codes? I'm seeing one related to the sun blind motor circuit.

Yep, same error code here. It's likely the motor, as you suspect. I tried fiddling with it, but no luck. Ended up biting the bullet and taking it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly.

I went to the shop as suggested. Diagnosis confirmed the sun blind motor was broken. The replacement and labor cost 330€. A bit pricey, but at least the car interior is back to its original condition, and sun protection is restored. Thanks for your input!

I had something similar happen on my Alhambra. The sun blind just refused to budge. Was there any unusual noise before it stopped working?
