Seat Alhambra Sun Blind Issue

I'm encountering an issue with the sun blind on my 2013 Seat Alhambra, diesel engine. The sun blind is stuck, neither retracting nor extending. VCDS reports a fault in the error memory, which suggests a defective sun blind motor. I'm concerned about UV protection, especially for the kids in the back. Has anyone experienced this before? Any insights into the likely cause or potential fixes before I commit to a costly repair?

Yep, same error code here. It's likely the motor, as you suspect. I tried fiddling with it, but no luck. Ended up biting the bullet and taking it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly.

I went to the shop as suggested. Diagnosis confirmed the sun blind motor was broken. The replacement and labor cost 330€. A bit pricey, but at least the car interior is back to its original condition, and sun protection is restored. Thanks for your input!
