Seat Altea Blower Motor Issue
Summary of the thread
The Seat Altea's blower motor issue was traced to an AUC sensor fault. A defective cable or plug connection was suspected as the cause. It was suggested to check the connections to the air quality sensor, as a loose plug or damaged cable could lead to problems. Ultimately, a workshop confirmed and fixed a faulty connection to the AUC sensor, resolving the blower motor issue.

Where is that air quality sensor located? Is it easy to get to and check the cable connection myself? I'm not super experienced, but I can handle basic tasks.

The air conditioning sensor is the culprit. It is likely that your AUC sensor is defective. I recommend taking it to a workshop. They can diagnose it properly and fix any wiring issues. It's probably a quicker and safer bet than trying to fix it yourself if you're not confident.

Thanks for the help. The workshop confirmed a faulty connection to the AUC sensor. They fixed the wiring, and the blower is working again. Cost 95€, problem solved.

I had a similar issue with my Altea. The blower motor suddenly stopped. It was the auto recirculation or odor sensor. Have you checked the connections to the air quality sensor? If the plug is loose or the cable is damaged, it can cause weirdness.
