Thank you for your response. I have reviewed the Bluetooth settings on both devices multiple times and attempted to re-pair them, but the issue persists. When you experienced a similar problem, was the solution also related to a corrupted pairing profile? Did you have to perform any specific procedures or troubleshooting steps beyond the standard pairing process?

Indeed, the problem I experienced was specifically related to a corrupted pairing profile. Unfortunately, the standard pairing process did not resolve the issue. After extensive troubleshooting without success, I had to take the vehicle to a workshop equipped with the appropriate diagnostic tools. They were able to clear the corrupted profile and re-establish the Bluetooth connection. It's like trying to fix a complicated computer glitch – sometimes you need specialized software to get things working again. I would advise you to seek professional assistance, as attempting advanced troubleshooting without the necessary expertise could potentially exacerbate the problem.

I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I followed your advice and took the Altea to a local workshop. It turned out that the error memory had stored an incorrect pairing with my smartphone. They cleared the error and re-established the Bluetooth connection. The total cost was 45€. Everything is working as expected now.

I have a Seat Altea as well, and I encountered a similar issue not too long ago. The inability to connect your smartphone and the error stored in the memory suggest a potential problem with the infotainment system's Bluetooth module. Have you checked the Bluetooth settings on both your phone and the car's system? It might be something as simple as a corrupted pairing profile. Think of it like a bad handshake between two people – they both need to agree on the terms for a successful interaction. The fuel system, transmission, suspension, drivetrain, and brakes are unlikely to be related to this particular issue.
