Seat Altea Diesel Electrical Problems
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Seat Altea diesel is experiencing electrical problems, including overvoltage errors and multiple system failures, likely due to a weak or defective battery. The issue may stem from a heavily discharged battery or a power surge. Checking the battery voltage with a multimeter is recommended, and if the battery fails to hold a charge, replacement may be necessary. Replacing the faulty battery resolved the electrical issues.

Thanks for the quick reply! How did you check the voltage, and what was the next step you took after that?

Yep, same symptoms. I used a multimeter to check the voltage. It was way lower than it should have been. I tried charging the car battery, but it didn't hold the charge. In the end, I just took it to a workshop. They confirmed it was the car battery causing all the electrical issue.

It was a faulty car battery! Replacement cost 290€ and resolved all the electrical issues. Thanks for the help!

Sounds like a similar issue I had with my Altea. I remember seeing a bunch of weird errors on the dashboard. Did you check the car battery voltage? That's where I'd start.
