Seat Altea multiple system issues

I need some advice I have a 2015 Seat Altea with a gasoline engine, at 153441 km. Recently, I've been getting a low tire pressure warning. The ABS lamp also lights up, the steering wheel is vibrating, and it feels like the power steering is failing because it requires increased effort to steer. I've checked and inflated tires, but the tire pressure keeps dropping, so I suspect a pressure loss. Is this likely to be a defective valve in the tire, or something else?

Strange symptoms. I had a similar issue with my Altea. Kept getting a low tire pressure warning, and the ABS light came on sometimes. Have you checked the tire pressure with a gauge, even after inflating?

Yes, I have checked the tire pressure with a gauge, and they seem fine after inflating. However, a couple of days later, the tire pressure is low again. Could a defective valve really cause all those problems ABS, shaking, and power steering issues?

Yup, sounds very familiar. Defective valve could be the reason, causing slow pressure loss and messing with the tire monitoring system. That triggers the ABS and can affect steering. I'd advise visiting a workshop to get the valve checked and replaced.

Just a heads-up it was indeed a faulty valve in one of the tires, like you thought. Got it replaced, cost around 280€. Thanks for the help!
