Seat Altea Tire Pressure Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Seat Altea owner is experiencing a persistent low tire pressure warning on the speedometer, suspected to be due to a sensor fault. The issue is likely caused by a dead sensor battery, given the vehicle's age and mileage. The recommended solution is to replace the faulty sensor, which was confirmed and resolved at a workshop.

It's a general low tire message. Was your sensor fault also showing constantly?

Yes, the warning was there all the time. A faulty or dead sensor triggers it constantly. It's likely the battery, especially given the age. You'll probably need a new sensor. Best get it checked professionally at a workshop to confirm.

The pressure gauge sensor was indeed the issue. I had it replaced at the workshop, cost around 280€. Thanks for the advice!

Sounds like a TPMS issue. I had something similar with my Altea. Do you get a 'flat tire' warning, or just a general 'low tire' message?
