Thank you for your response. I appreciate the suggestion to check the spray jets. Could you elaborate on the method you employed to clear any potential blockages in the windshield washer spray jets? I wish to proceed methodically to avoid any unintended damage to the system.

In my case, with the Opel Astra, the dealership confirmed the low fluid level indication despite the reservoir appearing partially full. A top-up resolved the warning. I recommend visiting a workshop to perform a proper diagnostic. They possess the tools to accurately assess the fluid level sensor functionality. It is possible there is a fault within the sensor itself.

I appreciate your assistance. The issue was a depleted windshield washer fluid reservoir. I refilled it, and the warning light went away. The cost was 25€ for the fluid. The windshield washer system is working now.

I had a similar experience with my Opel Astra. The windshield washer fluid level sensor can be sensitive. Have you confirmed the fluid level physically, rather than relying on the warning light? Also, examine the spray jets for any blockages, as that could influence the system's performance. Perhaps a simple blockage is triggering a false 'low fluid' warning.
