Seat Arona Air Conditioning Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Seat Arona owner experienced an issue with the air conditioning system not switching on and failing to cool, with an error related to undervoltage affecting the A/C compressor. A similar problem was previously resolved by replacing a faulty A/C compressor relay switch. The owner took the vehicle to a workshop, where the relay switch was replaced, resolving the issue.

Interesting. Where exactly is the A/C compressor relay switch located? And did you notice any other electrical issues at the time?

Yep, same symptoms exactly! The relay switch location... I'm not 100% sure without looking it up, but it's usually in the engine compartment fuse box. Honestly, I'd take it to a workshop. They'll diagnose it properly and replace the relay if needed. It's better than messing with the pressure sensor or pressure switch yourself if you're not totally confident.

Appreciate the insight. Took it to a workshop; they found undervoltage was indeed the culprit. Replaced a faulty relay switch, and the A/C compressor is working again. Total cost was 240€. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

Oh, that sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Arona, although I can't remember the exact error code. The HVAC system just quit, and it was HOT. Have you checked the A/C compressor relay switch? That was the problem in my case. It's a cheap fix if that's it!
