Summary of the thread
A 2020 Seat Arona with a diesel engine was experiencing issues with the preheating lamp staying on and the engine light illuminated, indicating potential engine faults. Error codes point to the glow control unit. Preheating lamp doesn't switch off. Get smoke when accelerating. Did yours do that?

Yeah, that sounds very much like what I experienced. Best get it checked out at a workshop. Probably the control unit.

Cheers for the help. Turns out it was a defective glow control unit, likely the cable or plug connection was faulty. Replaced it for 95€. Runs smooth now.

I had something similar with my Arona. Engine light came on, and it felt like the vehicle was stalling at low speeds. Did you check the error codes?
