Seat Arona electrical issues and navigation failure

I have a 2017 Seat Arona with a gasoline engine and around 76000 km on the clock. I'm experiencing some strange electrical issues and the navigation system isn't working at all. After doing some research, it seems like the vehicle might be stuck in 'transport mode', even though it's not a new car. Could this really be the problem? I've tried the usual things like checking fuses and even disconnecting the battery for a while, but nothing seems to work. I've also tried both key fobs. Any ideas?

Whoa, that's weird. I had something similar happen with my Volvo a few years back. Navigation was dead, some electrical systems acting funky. Turned out it was stuck in some kind of 'delivery mode' too. Did you check the vehicle settings? Maybe there's a way to disable it there?

Delivery mode? I've never heard of that before. Where exactly did you find the vehicle settings to disable it? I've been through all the menus on the infotainment system and haven't seen anything obvious.

Yeah, 'transport mode' or 'delivery mode', same difference. I couldn't disable it myself on the Volvo. You'll likely need a diagnostic check by the dealer or a mechanic with the right tools. They can access the ECU and switch it off. It's a software thing, not something you can usually fix with a key fob or the usual vehicle setting menus.

Took it to the dealership as suggested. They ran a diagnostic check and apparently it was still in transport mode from the factory! They disabled it, and everything is working fine now. No cost involved thankfully. Thanks again for the heads up!
