Seat Arona electrical malfunction and navigation issue

My 2023 Seat Arona with a gasoline engine is acting up. Got 178480 km on it. Error stored. General electrical malfunction, and the navigation is dead. They are saying programming of the control unit is implausible.

I had something similar with my Arona. The onboard diagnostics flagged an error, and the navigation went completely haywire. It sounds like you're experiencing ECU problems, potentially a software bug. Have you tried any basic troubleshooting, like checking the battery or any obvious loose connections?

What exactly did you do to fix it?

I didn't fix it myself, to be honest. Given the ECU problems, I took it to a workshop. They said it was a known software bug and required a software reset. Recalibration was also necessary. Best to get it checked professionally.

The garage did a software reset and recalibration. Seems fine now. Cost me 240€.
