Seat Arona GPS problem

Is anyone else experiencing GPS issues on their Seat Arona? I have a 2018 Arona with a diesel engine. The navigation system shows no GPS reception. The error memory indicates a defective GPS antenna. I suspect the GPS antenna needs replacement.

I had similar GPS issues with my Arona. The error memory also stored the same error. Did you check the connection of the GPS antenna to the GPS module?

I inspected the visible wiring but didn't disassemble the dashboard. Where exactly is the GPS module located, and is the antenna connection easily accessible?

Yes, the GPS module is buried behind the dashboard. I didn't want to risk damaging anything, so I took it to the workshop. They confirmed it was indeed the GPS antenna. The antenna repair itself isn't too difficult, but accessing it is a pain.

Thanks for the confirmation. I had the GPS antenna replaced at the workshop. Cost me around 200€. Navigation is working flawlessly again.
