Seat Arona hard starting issue

My 2017 Seat Arona with a gasoline engine is experiencing hard starting. It has 146490 km. The engine runs poorly during the cold start phase with a rough idle and occasional engine misfire. I suspect a defective injection valve or injector. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure I follow. Are you saying it only happens when the engine is cold? Has this happened before? What did you do then? Is it possible the cold weather is affecting the battery?

Yes, only during cold starts. I performed an injector test, and cylinder four seems to have a pressure drop. Could the fuel rail be causing this?

If the injector test shows a pressure drop specifically in cylinder four, and the issue is isolated to cold starts, a defective injector is the most probable cause. While the fuel rail could theoretically contribute, it's less likely to affect a single cylinder so directly. It might be worth taking it to a workshop.

It turned out to be a faulty cold start injector, like I thought. The repair cost 515€.
