Seat Arona Heating Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Seat Arona with a gasoline engine is experiencing heating issues, blowing only lukewarm air. The error memory indicates a defective water valve, but a potential cause could be a loose cable or plug. A similar case revealed that a faulty connection, specifically a loose plug on the water valve, was the issue. Checking and securing the wiring resolved the problem, restoring proper heating functionality.

Coolant level seems fine. Where exactly was the problem in your Arona? Was it a valve blockage or something else?

Mine wasn't a valve blockage exactly, more like a faulty connection. The diagnostic pointed to the water valve, but the actual problem was a loose plug on the valve. I'd suggest having a mechanic check the wiring before replacing the whole valve. It's worth a look before spending big money.

You were spot on! I took it to the workshop, and they checked the water valve. The cable was indeed loose. They fixed it, and the heating is working perfectly now. Cost me 95€. Thanks a lot for your help!

Sounds similar to a problem I had with my Arona. The heater was blowing cold air, and there was an error code. Have you checked for any coolant leaks?
