Summary of the thread
A 2019 Seat Arona diesel with 178,698 km has a lighting system fault, where lights turn on but an error is logged. The issue may stem from a defective cable or plug connection. A similar problem was resolved by checking the car switch and wiring harness, leading to the discovery of a faulty light switch cable, which was repaired at a workshop.

Thanks for the quick response! I did check the fuses, but they seemed fine. Where was the problem in your case? Was it also a faulty light switch, or something different?

In my situation, the whole electrical system was going nuts because of a defective car switch. Ultimately, I had to bring it to a workshop to get properly diagnosed. They found a short in the light switch wiring harness. Does that sound like what you might be experiencing? Given the error code, I suspect you should consider taking it to a mechanic. Do you have a multimeter to check the pins from the car switch?

I took it to the workshop as suggested and it turned out to be a faulty light switch cable. The repair cost 95€. Everything works fine now.

Sounds familiar! I had a similar electrical problem with my Arona a while back. Did you check the fuse box? Sometimes a simple blown fuse can cause havoc with the dashboard lights and even the tail lights. Has the mechanic checked the car switch?
