Thanks for the reply. I'm not very familiar with the fan clutch. Where is it located, and is there a way to test it myself?

Yes, the faulty connection was exactly my problem. It's worth getting it checked professionally, as messing with the cooling system can lead to more problems. In my case, it was a relatively simple fix, but I'd still recommend a workshop to diagnose it properly. Better safe than sorry with overheating!

Thanks for the help. I took it to the workshop, and they confirmed it was a defective cable connection to the electric fan. The repair cost me 95€, and the Arona is running smoothly again.

I had a similar issue with my Arona, although it wasn't quite as obvious at first. Overheating can be tricky. Have you checked the fan clutch itself? Sometimes it's not the fan motor but the clutch mechanism that's failing. It's like a dimmer switch that's stuck. Is the fan running at all, or is it just running slowly?
