Seat Arona oxygen sensor heater failure

Oxygen sensor issue, eh? I had something similar with my Seat Arona. Check engine light was on, and fuel consumption went up. Is your vehicle emissions higher than usual? I remember having an error code related to the exhaust system. Did you check the oxygen sensor itself for any visible damage?

Yes, the check engine light is on, and I think the fuel consumption has increased. How did you solve the issue? Was it also the oxygen sensor, or something else?

Yeah, I had the same error code. Eventually, it turned out to be a faulty sensor. Before replacing it I would advise you to go to the workshop. It's probably the sensor itself, but it's better to be sure, don't you think?

I took it to a mechanic, and they confirmed it was a faulty sensor. The cable and plug were fine. They replaced the oxygen sensor. Total cost was 95€. The malfunction indicator is now off.
