Seat Arona rough idle and vibration
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Seat Arona with a gasoline engine experienced rough idling and vibration, with an error code detected but not specific. The issue was suspected to be related to the engine mount or possibly a bad cable or plug connection. Another individual with a similar problem suggested checking the motor and transmission mounts. The problem was resolved by addressing a bad connection on a sensor related to the engine mount, which was cleaned and cleared, fixing the issue.

When you say similar, did you also have an error code? Did the vibration feel like it was coming from the engine?

I had an error code too. And the vibration was engine-related and got worse. If you're getting an error and rough idling, get the engine mount checked out by a workshop. They'll be able to tell for sure.

Took it to the shop. An error code pointed to the engine mount. It was a bad connection on a sensor. They cleaned it, cleared the code, and it's fixed. Cost 95€.

I had something similar with my Arona I noticed more vibration, especially when idling. Have you checked the motor mount or rubber mount? Is the transmission mount ok?
