I'll test that. But would the audio input affect the hands-free system? It's strange. Did you replace the head unit immediately?

Confirmed, I had the same thing on my Arona. Volume control and sound quality were also affected when using Bluetooth. No point in wasting time, just take it to a workshop.

Dealer confirmed it. Infotainment unit was dead. Microphone repair wasn't possible, so they swapped the whole unit. Cost 815€. Thanks for the help.

Sounds like the head unit. Does the ambient noise issue happen with other audio sources, like music from a USB?
