Seat Arosa Diesel Suspension Issues

My 2004 Seat Arosa diesel is playing up. The suspension system is totally buggered. It won't lift anymore, leans to one side, and the ride is bumpy as hell. Plus, there's an error message on the dash. I reckon it's the bellows valve, what do you think?

Hmm, that sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Seat Ibiza. Is the ride height noticeably lower on one side? It could well be a suspension failure, specifically with the air spring. Have you checked the error codes using an OBD2 scanner?

Yeah, it's leaning to one side, and feels like I'm driving a tractor! What exactly did you have to replace on yours? Was it just the air spring, or something else?

Okay, leaning to one side and a bumpy ride definitely points towards a suspension issue. If the error codes indicate a problem with the bellows valve, it's highly likely that's the culprit. These valves are responsible for maintaining the correct air pressure in the air spring. When they fail, you get uneven ride height and a compromised ride quality. I advise a full diagnostic check at a trusted workshop for a defective suspension air bag valve, as dealing with the suspension system can be tricky.

Just got it back from the garage, you were spot on the bellows valve was knackered. Cost me 590€ all in. At least it's sorted now!
