Thanks for the quick reply. The onboard diagnostics showed a general error related to the control unit programming being implausible. Is a software reset something I can do myself, or does it need special equipment?

The implausible control unit programming points to a software bug. A full software recalibration requires specific tools and software that only a workshop will have. It's best to get it checked by a professional, as messing with the control unit software can cause more problems.

Thanks for the input. The workshop visit confirmed the software bug. A recalibration fixed it. It cost 240€, but everything is working now. I appreciate the help.

I had a similar issue with my Arosa. The electrical system went haywire, and the navigation was dead. Did you run onboard diagnostics to see if it shows error codes? Maybe a software reset could help?
