Seat Arosa passenger electric seat issue
Summary of the thread
The 2003 Seat Arosa had an issue with the passenger electric seat not adjusting, accompanied by an error code indicating low voltage at the seat motor. The suspected cause was a discharged or defective battery. After replacing the battery and clearing the error code, the power seats resumed normal function, confirming the battery as the core problem.

I scanned it and got an error code related to low voltage at the passenger seat motor. The seat adjustment doesn't work at all. You mentioned checking the seat wiring. Where should I focus?

The low voltage error code for the passenger seat motor indicates a power supply issue. Given the complete lack of function and your suspicion about the battery, replacing it is a good first step. However, the seat wiring could still be a factor if there's corrosion or damage. If the problem continues after replacing the battery and clearing the error code, a workshop visit might be needed to diagnose the power seats control module or an internal issue with the seat motor.

The battery was indeed the problem. I replaced it, cleared the error, and the power seats are working now. The seat wiring is fine too. The repair cost 290€, thanks for the assistance.

A discharged battery is a likely cause, especially with electric seats. The Arosa's electrical system can be sensitive to voltage drops. Have you checked the seat wiring harness for damage or loose connections? A diagnostic scan is crucial to pinpoint the fault. Do the power seats function sometimes, or not at all? This helps narrow things down.
