Seat Arosa Tire Pressure Sensor Issue

I'm experiencing an issue with my 2004 Seat Arosa, gasoline engine, around 61000 km. The tire pressure seems low, and there's an error message. Diagnostic analysis reveals an error. I suspect the tire pressure sensor battery may be depleted. Has anyone encountered this?

Empty sensor battery, eh? Sounds familiar. I had something similar on my Arosa. Check the air valve too, might be corroded. Was the tire flat before the error?

Corroded air valve? I had a quick look, but didn't notice anything obvious. The tire inflation seemed normal when I checked it with my pressure gauge. Was it definitely the sensor battery for you?

Yep, pretty sure it was the sensor. But those sensors are a pain. Get it checked by a pro. Don't mess with the TPMS system yourself unless you know what you're doing.

I took the Arosa to a workshop. The tire pressure sensor battery was dead. They replaced the sensor, and the error is gone. Cost was 280€.
