Thanks for the reply. I did check the wheel speed sensors, they seem fine according to the diagnostic tool. The error code points towards a speed signal fault related to the transmission. Could it still be the ABS control unit even if the sensors are okay?

If the diagnostic points to a speed signal fault and the sensors are good, and your odometer isn't working, it's likely the ABS control unit itself. It's like the central hub for all that data. Best to get it checked by a workshop.

Took it to the shop as you suggested. The ABS control unit was indeed faulty. A new unit was installed, costing me around 1000€. Odometer and transmission are working fine again. Thanks for the help!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Ateca. ABS light, traction control going haywire. Did you check the wheel speed sensors? Those can cause ABS malfunction too.
