Seat Ateca Blower Motor Failure
Summary of the thread
The 2021 Seat Ateca experienced a blower motor failure, resulting in the vehicle's inability to blow air. The diagnostic tool indicated an error related to the fresh air blower but did not specify the exact cause. The suspected issue was a faulty blower motor, and after checking potential causes like the fuse and fan speed controller, it was confirmed by a garage that the blower motor needed replacement. The problem was resolved with the installation of a new blower motor.

I have not checked the fuses yet. It seems like the fan speed controller is working, as I can change fan speeds, however, the air conditioning is not working either. Could the fuse being blown still be the issue?

If the fuse is intact, the error memory points to a defective blower motor. Given that the air conditioning is also non-functional, and you've already investigated the fan speed controller without finding any issues, it is very likely the blower motor itself needs to be replaced. I recommend taking the vehicle to a qualified workshop for diagnosis and repair.

Took the Ateca to the local garage. They confirmed the blower motor was dead, just like you thought! New one installed, 365€ lighter, but at least I have cold air again. Thanks again for your help!

A non-functional cabin fan coupled with a stored error strongly suggests a defective blower motor. Have you checked the fuse for the HVAC system?
