Yes the keyless entry doesn't work either. The car locks don't react at all. Do you think it could really be a defective cable or plug connection? Where was the defective connection in your case?

It does sound similar to my issue. In my case, it was a defective cable or plug connection. It's hard to say exactly where it is without proper diagnostics, but the error memory should give the workshop a clue. Based on my experience, and the error code you're seeing, a visit to the workshop is probably the best bet. They can check the wiring and connections to the central locking module and the security system. They should also check the key fob. I hope it’s a simple fix!

Thanks for the help. The workshop fixed the cable and plug connection. It cost 95€. Everything is working again.

Central locking issues can be a pain. I had a similar problem with my Ateca a while back. The symptoms sound familiar. Does your keyless entry also not work, or is it just the central locking when using the key fob?
