Interesting. Where exactly should I be looking for these connectors and the wiring harness? Are they easily accessible, or will I need to remove parts of the dashboard?

Yes, it sounds like the same problem I encountered. I didn't attempt the repair myself; I took it to a workshop. They indicated the likely cause was a defective electrical connector in the wiring harness related to the HVAC system. Is it worth risking further damage by attempting a DIY fix?

Took it to the shop, and you were spot on. It was a faulty connector in the wiring harness for the climate control. They replaced the connector, and the HVAC system is now working perfectly. Total cost was 95€ Thanks again for your help!

I have a similar Seat Ateca. Did you check the electrical connectors to the climate control panel? I recall reading about issues with the wiring harness causing similar problems. Could that be the culprit?
