Seat Ateca cooling issue

I have a Seat Ateca, build year 2023 with a gasoline engine. The instrument cluster displays incorrect temperatures. The check engine light illuminated. The engine requires considerably longer to reach operating temperature. I suspect the cooling grille is restricted. Could a defective fuse be the cause?

That sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my Opel Insignia a few years back. The cooling system was acting up, and the engine was slow to warm. Did you check the fuses related to the cooling grille and thermal management? It might be a simple fix.

Could you provide additional detail regarding the fuse location and designation on your Opel Insignia, or any other relevant information that could help me locate the fuse?

In my case, it was indeed a fuse. While the exact location might differ on your Seat Ateca, consult your owner's manual for the fuse box diagram. If you are uncertain, it might be best to visit a workshop to have it checked to prevent further problems with the cooling system and avoid potential car overheating.

I appreciate the insight. The dealership confirmed a defective fuse related to the cooling grille. Repair cost was 52€. Thank you for your help.
