Seat Ateca Diesel Fuel System Problem

I'm experiencing fuel system issues with my 2016 Seat Ateca diesel. The engine doesn't start sometimes, stalls at idle, and runs rough. The check engine light is on, and fuel consumption seems higher. Error memory indicates a fuel pump issue. Could a defective cable or plug connection be the culprit?

Yes, those were my symptoms too. Given the error code and symptoms, I'd strongly suspect the fuel pump. I suggest a workshop visit for a proper diagnostic.

Thanks for the input. The automotive diagnosis confirmed a defective fuel pump cable or plug connection. The auto repair cost 95€.
