Interesting. Did you also get an error code related to the fuel filter? And was your fuel consumption also higher than usual?

Yes, I did get the error code and the fuel consumption was definitely up. In my case, it turned out to be the same issue. I would suggest taking it to a workshop to get a proper diagnosis. It is probably the cable or plug connection being defective.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. Turns out it was indeed a defective cable connector on the fuel filter heater. Replaced it for 95€. Runs like new now!

I had a similar issue with my Seat Ateca, though I can't remember the exact year. The symptoms you describe – reduced power and uneven idling – sound very familiar. Has the fuel filter been checked or replaced recently? When the engine is cold, is there engine stalling or other problems?
