Seat Cordoba Audio System Failure
Summary of the thread
The 2003 Seat Cordoba experienced a complete audio system failure, with no sound or display. A diagnostic scan indicated a defective display, which could also have caused previous Bluetooth issues and speaker crackling. Checking the fuses was suggested as a potential solution, but the workshop confirmed the defective display as the root cause. Replacing the display resolved the issue, restoring the audio system's functionality.

The static noise appears regardless of the source. Where can I find the fuse allocation plan?

The fuse allocation plan is usually in the owner's manual or printed on a label inside the fuse box cover. Since the static noise persists across all sources, and given the error code, a defective display module seems highly probable. It may be best to have a workshop confirm the diagnosis before investing in a replacement.

The workshop confirmed the defective display. The audio system is now working after the replacement. The final cost was as predicted.

I had similar problems with my Cordoba's head unit. Is the static noise present regardless of the selected audio source? Have you checked the fuses related to the audio system? Sometimes a blown fuse can cause the entire system to fail.
