Seat Cordoba Cruise Control Issue

Interesting, a faulty connection within the steering wheel controls... that sounds like a plausible cause. When you say 'steering wheel controls,' are you referring to the buttons on the steering wheel itself? I've checked the fuses, and they seem fine. The error message is constantly present; it doesn't come and go.

Yes, I meant the buttons on the steering wheel itself. In my case, the car electronics threw a similar error, even pointing to a potential issue with the cruise control stalk. But after some fiddling and a bit of voltage checking, the workshop traced it back to a loose connector within the steering wheel control cluster. Given that your error message is constant, I'd recommend having a professional check the wiring and connections in that area. Is there any chance that this is a non-urgent issue, and that you can take the car to the workshop?

Took the Cordoba to the workshop as you suggested. It was indeed a defective plug connection, just as the error memory indicated. They replaced the connector, cleared the error, and now the cruise control is working perfectly again. Total cost was 95€. Thanks a lot for your help!

Non-functional cruise control on a Seat Cordoba? I had a similar issue with my Cordoba some time ago. Was the steering wheel involved somehow? In my case, it turned out to be a faulty connection within the steering wheel controls. Have you checked the relevant fuses and relays for the cruise control system? Is the error message constantly present, or does it appear intermittently?
