Seat Cordoba fuel sensor issue
Summary of the thread
The Seat Cordoba experienced engine stalling and a check engine light, suspected to be caused by a faulty fuel level sensor, as confirmed by the error memory. A similar issue in a Fiat Punto suggested checking the wiring and sensor fault codes. The problem was resolved by replacing a faulty fuse, eliminating the engine light and stalling issues.

Wiring, huh Where exactly should I be looking for that on the fuel system And this Fiat Punto, did it have similar symptoms, like the engine stalling at idle Was there a specific sensor fault code

Yes, the Punto had similar issues, including the engine stalling. The error code pointed to a fuel sensor malfunction. I would suggest taking it to a workshop. They can diagnose the fuel sensor problem properly and check for any other underlying issues.

I had a similar issue with my old Fiat Punto. The car dashboard was showing all sorts of errors, and the fuel gauge was going crazy. Have you checked the wiring to the fuel system A faulty sensor could also cause the engine to stall. Is the error stored in the error memory related to the fuel sensor
