Interesting. You mentioned a faulty sensor. Do you recall which sensor was causing the problem in your case? Also, the engine is gasoline, not diesel. I have noticed higher fuel consumption, reduced engine power, and the engine also stalls sometimes. I've also noticed some smoke when accelerating.

Yes, the symptoms sound very familiar. I don't remember exactly which sensor it was, but it was related to the fuel injection. Given the smoke you're seeing, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop to get a proper diagnosis. It's better to be safe than sorry when it comes to the engine and fuel system.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I took your advice and had the car checked. It turned out to be a defective cable connection in the injection system, as suspected. The repair cost was 95€, and the car is running smoothly again.

I had a similar issue with my Cordoba. It sounds like it could be related to the air intake system or a faulty sensor. Have you checked the air filter or any of the sensors connected to the engine? When this happened to me, the car was consuming more fuel than usual and there was a noticeable drop in power. Is your engine diesel?
